Heya,

as i played tm on my laptop everything went fine. the
original driving config (<>^v) worked perfectly. Then i got a new
pc and i needed to install tm again. problem: with the new version
config (again: <>^v) the drifts with v-button didnt work anymore.
so, anyone has an idea how to recreate the old config with v as break,
backwards and drift?

i already tried some ideas of mine:
1. put the break on s - works for tm, but doesnt work for me. i am too
uncoordinated to get it in a way that can lead me to the driving level
i'm at.
2. put all the config to wasd. didnt work either (while s being solo with ^<> worked normally (see 1.). thats why i think its possible to get the original config back.
3. turned my kb 90° and repeated 2. - didnt work either.
4. reconfiged the config (in the sense of: deleted it and put the original back on it) - didnt work either.

anyone another idea? or do i need to buy a new pad? =/

als ich noch auf meinem Laptop spielte, seinerzeit,
funktionierte alles einwandfrei. Ich hatte die normale
Ursprungskonfiguration der Steuerung (heißt: rechts, links, oben,
unten), soweit so gut. Dann bekam ich einen neuen Rechner und
installierte entsprechend TM auch neu. Das Problem: In der neuen
Steuerungskonfiguration ist es zwar immernoch rechts, links, oben,
unten, aber man bekommt damit keine Drifts mehr hin, wenn man Gas
gedrückt hält. Zuerst habe ich einfach ein altes Pad benutzt, was
irgendwo rumlag, da war auch alles astrein, die Bremse hatte die
Ursprungsfunktion von allem. Nun ist dieses Pad aber vor ner Woche
ungefähr der Unspielbarkeit anheim gefallen, heißt: Ich muss entweder
zurück zur Tastatur oder mir ein neues kaufen. Natürlich (als Schüler,
haha...) ist mir die kostengünstigere Variante des
Zur-Tasta-Zurückehrens lieber, also die Frage: Wie bekomme ich wieder
eine "normale" Benutzung der Bremse hin, dass sie sowohl als Bremse als
auch als Rückwärtsgang als auch als Driftmöglichkeit funktioniert?!

Ausprobiert habe ich:
1.
Die Bremse seperat auf eine Taste für die linke Hand gelegt.
Ironischerweise hat sie dann ihre tatsächliche Funktion wieder, meine
Koordination reicht allerdings nicht aus um das auf das Level
hochzuspielen, auf dem ich aktuell fahre.
2. Die gesamte Steuerung
auf WASD gelegt. Funktioniert leider nicht. S allein als Bremse
allerdings (s. 1.) schon. Das verwirrt mich und das ist der Grund, warum
ich glaube, dass es wieder funktionieren kann.
3. Die Tastatur um 90° gedreht und geschaut, ob 2. dann funktioniert. Tut es nicht.
4.
Die Konfiguration in sich geändert, im Sinne von Aktualisiert, dh: alle
Tasten neubelegt und wieder zurückgelegt: funktioniert nicht.

Jemand ne andere Idee?

ja, wahrscheinlich werd ichs dann mal probieren mit w, aber wie gesagt... die koordination... tabasco: kostet ja nur 300€

mal gucken, wenn ich nicht klarkomme werd ich mir wohl wieder n neues pad zulegen müssen.
