MediaTracker Turtle trick

The Turtle - MediaTracker - Trick

I´ll show you, how you can make the players of your track turtle. It´s a trick which I found last year and which I used on a beta map for kacklappen cup.
First of all I´ll explain what that "Turtle" is. You turtle when you drive with your car upside down.. so when you drive not on the wheels. There are turtle train maps on tmx on which you turtle after a loop, there you can see what turtle is. But how to make players to turtle, that there´s no other way than turtle....
I´ll explain you with this tutorial (this tutorial is made with a german version of TMUF). You should let the pictures and all load...

And just click on each picture to get a bigger picture with better quality.

What you need is a track on which you want to use the turtle trick.

For the turtle trick you can use the fabric blocks and the sculpture blocks. For this example I took easy fabric blocks (marked with blue):

What to do now? You got to open the MediaTracker menu, make an easy ghost for the MediaTracker and then click on execute:

Then add the MediaTracker activators in the fabric blocks and disable other ways:

And then crossfade the mt clips.. so that there are blackscreens when they get activated and some text just for info:

Here´s what happens when you dirve on the fabric blocks now:

Where can you drive now? It´s impossible for you to drive the blue marked way, but you still can take the purple way, but only when you turtle:

Build something with you can get in turtle position, that can be a part of a loop, a border or something else:

Then turtle over the fabric things and see, you don´t get a black screen:

Build something how you can get back to normal position, fall down or something:

Heres just another block which you can use for the turtle MediaTracker trick:

So that´s it, have fun while using this trick!

Nice Tuto...

But perhaps a tutorial how to "turtle" cause for some reason i can't manage to do that..
I even tried the train maps, but for 95% of the times i can't even start to turtle. :P

Did I understand right that you have to use at least one fabric or sculpture block at the beginning and it doensnt work on normal platform blocks?

Other than that thanks for the tut ;)

set the trigger into the fabric block (not above).
just set that mt shows up if you touch the trigger and it wont be triggered if you turtle on it. otherwise it will.
only works on fabrics (the horizontal)

Edit: It works on some other blocks too, but you just got to understand, that when your wheels hit the mt trigger anyway, it will be activated. When you set the trigger in a normal block (circuit), then nothing happens when you drive over it. When you set the trigger into a fabric or a normal structure, and then drive over it, it gets activated. So when you turtle are your wheels over the trigger, but your body not...So when your wheels don´t hit the trigger, does it work
